Job Description

The Reservations Agent manages guest bookings, amendments, cancellations and enquiries across telephone, email and online channels. Requirements typically include previous reservations, front-office or customer-service experience, strong communication and organisational skills, attention to detail, and confidence using hotel reservation systems and standard office software. Candidates are expected to provide warm, efficient service, accurately record guest preferences, explain rates and policies, support upselling, and work closely with Front Office, Sales and Revenue teams. Flexibility to work varied shifts, including weekends and public holidays, is important. Experience with Opera or another property-management system, knowledge of Melbourne’s accommodation market, and the ability to work calmly in a busy luxury lifestyle hotel would be advantageous.
