Job Description

The Royal Service Agent – Telephone Operator handles hotel telephone calls, guest requests, wake-up calls, message taking and communication with operating departments. Candidates should have strong spoken English, a polite telephone manner, good listening and organizational skills, and basic computer knowledge. Previous experience in hotel telecommunications, switchboard operations, guest services or front office work is preferred. Knowledge of additional languages and experience with hotel systems are advantageous. The successful candidate is expected to remain calm under pressure, respond promptly and professionally, protect guest confidentiality, record requests accurately, follow emergency procedures and maintain Fairmont service standards. Flexibility for rotating shifts, weekends and public holidays is essential.
