Job Description

The Chef de Partie is responsible for managing an assigned kitchen section, preparing and presenting dishes to Novotel standards, and maintaining consistent quality, portion control and food safety. Requirements typically include commercial cookery experience, sound knowledge of food preparation techniques, HACCP and workplace health and safety practices, and the ability to work efficiently in a busy hotel kitchen. Formal culinary qualifications are advantageous. The successful candidate is expected to support the Chef de Cuisine and wider kitchen team, communicate effectively, maintain a clean and organised workstation, minimise waste, and deliver reliable service during busy periods. Flexibility to work early mornings, evenings, weekends and public holidays is generally required.
