The Marketing & Communications Manager will lead the resort’s marketing, public relations, media relations, digital communication, content creation and brand campaigns. Candidates should have a degree in marketing, communications, public relations or a related field, along with several years of experience in hospitality, luxury resorts or a comparable industry. Strong writing, networking, project management and presentation skills are expected. The successful candidate should understand local and international markets, manage agencies and media contacts, support revenue-generating campaigns, and maintain Rixos and Accor brand standards. Fluency in English is essential; Arabic or additional languages would be an advantage. Creativity, professionalism, commercial awareness and the ability to work in a fast-paced multicultural environment are important.
Rixos Premium Qetaifan Island North is a luxury resort in Lusail, Qatar, operated under the Rixos brand and part of Accor’s international hospitality portfolio. The resort combines upscale accommodation with restaurants, entertainment, leisure facilities and family-focused experiences on Qetaifan Island. Rixos properties are known for an all-inclusive or premium lifestyle approach, energetic service, extensive dining and entertainment concepts, and strong destination marketing. As part of Accor, the hotel benefits from a global network, established training resources, international brand standards and career opportunities across hospitality markets. The property serves leisure travellers, families, groups and event guests, and works closely with Qatar’s growing tourism and attractions sector. Employees can expect a diverse workplace, guest-focused responsibilities and collaboration across hotel operations, sales, events, food and beverage, and corporate brand functions.
Qetaifan Island North is a modern waterfront destination in Lusail, close to Doha, with hotels, restaurants, entertainment attractions, beaches and family leisure developments. Hospitality offers opportunities in hotels, restaurants, events, tourism, retail and guest services, particularly for candidates with international experience. Qatar’s culture is welcoming but conservative: modest clothing is advisable, public behaviour should remain respectful, and local Islamic customs must be observed. Life is comfortable and highly urban, with excellent roads, shopping, healthcare and dining, although summers are extremely hot. Employers commonly arrange work visas, medical checks, residence permits and sometimes accommodation, transport or annual flights. Candidates should confirm the full package, contract terms and probation conditions before relocating. A valid passport, authenticated qualifications and a clean background record may be required. Doha and Lusail provide active expatriate communities, while Arabic knowledge is useful but not essential for many international hotel roles.
