Destination Guide

The United Arab Emirates is not an island but a federation of seven emirates, with Dubai and Abu Dhabi offering the widest range of hospitality, tourism, retail, aviation, finance, and technology jobs. The culture combines Islamic traditions, strong family values, and a highly international workforce; respectful dress and behavior are expected, especially during Ramadan. Lifestyle options range from beaches, malls, desert activities, and restaurants to museums and outdoor pursuits during cooler months. Employers normally sponsor work visas, residence permits, medical checks, and Emirates ID processing for overseas hires, although the exact package varies. Confirm accommodation, transport, insurance, flights, leave, probation, and gratuity before accepting an offer. Dubai is well connected and convenient, but rent and daily expenses can be high. Candidates should verify contracts through official UAE channels and never pay recruitment or visa fees to an employer or agent.
