Job Description

The Duty Manager supports the smooth daily operation of HYDE Perth, acting as the senior manager on duty and ensuring an excellent guest experience across the hotel. Responsibilities typically include supervising front office and operational teams, managing arrivals and departures, handling guest requests and complaints, coordinating departments, completing safety and security checks, and resolving issues promptly. Candidates are expected to have previous hotel supervisory or management experience, strong communication and problem-solving skills, sound knowledge of hotel operations, and a professional, hands-on approach. Flexibility to work weekends, evenings, public holidays, and rotating shifts is important. Familiarity with hotel property-management systems and experience in a lifestyle, luxury, or high-volume hotel environment would be advantageous.
