Job Description

The Housekeeping Attendant is responsible for cleaning and preparing guest rooms, bathrooms, public areas and other hotel spaces to Mercure’s cleanliness standards. Requirements typically include strong attention to detail, physical fitness, reliability, good personal presentation and the ability to work efficiently while standing, bending and lifting. Previous hotel or cleaning experience is helpful but may not be essential. The successful candidate is expected to provide consistent, high-quality work, follow health and safety procedures, respect guest privacy, report maintenance issues and work cooperatively with supervisors and other departments. Flexibility to work early mornings, weekends and public holidays is generally required.
