Job Description

The Kitchen Porter supports the kitchen team by washing dishes, cleaning equipment and work areas, handling deliveries, removing waste and maintaining high standards of hygiene and food safety. Candidates should be hardworking, reliable, physically fit and comfortable working in a busy hospitality environment. The role requires good teamwork, attention to detail, a positive attitude and flexibility to work shifts, including evenings, weekends and public holidays. Previous kitchen or hospitality experience is helpful but may not be essential, as training is often provided. The successful candidate is expected to follow health and safety procedures, support chefs and colleagues, work efficiently under pressure and help keep the kitchen organised and service-ready.
