Job Description

The Housekeeping Supervisor oversees room attendants and public-area staff, assigns daily work, checks cleanliness, manages supplies, and ensures guest rooms meet Mercure and Accor standards. Candidates are generally expected to have previous housekeeping experience in a hotel, ideally with supervisory responsibility. Good communication, leadership, organization, attention to detail, and the ability to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays are important. Familiarity with housekeeping procedures, safety practices, inventory control, and basic computer systems is beneficial. The successful candidate should be service-minded, physically fit, dependable, and able to respond professionally to guest requests and coordinate effectively with Front Office and Maintenance teams.
