Reservation Agent

Job Description

The Reservation Agent manages guest bookings, amendments, cancellations and enquiries across phone, email and online channels. Requirements typically include previous hotel reservations, front office or customer service experience, strong communication skills, attention to detail and confidence using reservation or property-management systems. Familiarity with Opera or similar platforms is beneficial. The successful candidate is expected to provide warm, accurate and efficient service, maximise room revenue, follow hotel procedures, maintain booking records and work collaboratively with Front Office, Sales and Revenue teams. Flexibility to work varied shifts, including weekends and public holidays, is generally required. Knowledge of Melbourne and the ability to handle multiple tasks calmly are also valuable.
