Storekeeper

Job Description

The Storekeeper is responsible for receiving, checking, recording, storing and issuing food, beverages, operating supplies and other hotel materials. Requirements typically include relevant storekeeping or warehouse experience, preferably in a hotel or hospitality environment, basic inventory and computer skills, good numeracy, and the ability to maintain accurate records. The successful candidate is expected to follow stock rotation and hygiene procedures, monitor expiry dates, conduct regular inventory counts, keep storage areas organised, and coordinate effectively with purchasing, kitchens and other departments. Reliability, attention to detail, physical fitness, integrity and the ability to work shifts, weekends and public holidays are important.
