Executive Housekeeper

Job Description

The Executive Housekeeper is responsible for leading the housekeeping department and maintaining exceptional cleanliness, presentation and guest comfort throughout the hotel. Candidates should have several years of housekeeping experience in a luxury hotel or resort, with previous supervisory or managerial responsibility. Strong knowledge of cleaning standards, room inspections, laundry, public areas, budgets, staffing and health and safety procedures is expected. The successful candidate should be organised, service-oriented and confident managing multicultural teams. Excellent communication, leadership and problem-solving skills are important, along with the ability to work flexible hours, weekends and public holidays. Familiarity with hotel operating systems and attention to detail will be advantageous.
