Security Officer

Job Description

The Security Officer is responsible for protecting guests, colleagues, property and hotel assets. Duties typically include monitoring CCTV and access points, conducting regular patrols, responding to incidents, assisting guests during emergencies, preparing reports and enforcing hotel security procedures. Candidates should have relevant security or hospitality experience, good communication skills, sound judgment and a professional appearance. Physical fitness, reliability, basic computer skills and the ability to remain calm under pressure are important. First-aid, fire-safety or recognised Hong Kong security qualifications may be preferred. The role usually requires shift work, including nights, weekends and public holidays, with a strong focus on confidentiality, service and teamwork.
