Destination Guide

The Philippines offers hospitality opportunities across major destinations including Boracay, Cebu, Palawan, Bohol, Siargao, and Luzon, particularly in hotels, resorts, restaurants, diving, wellness, and tourism services. Filipino culture is generally warm, family-oriented, and welcoming, with English widely used in the workplace. Island life can be relaxed and scenic, but transport, healthcare, shopping, and internet access vary considerably between locations. Living costs are often moderate, although resort islands can be more expensive and seasonal employment is common. Foreign workers generally need an employer-sponsored work permit and an appropriate visa; requirements should be confirmed with the Philippine Bureau of Immigration and the hiring company. Relocating candidates should arrange verified accommodation, health insurance, travel documents, and a clear employment contract before arrival.
