Job Description

The Executive Housekeeper leads the hotel’s housekeeping and laundry operations, maintaining Shangri-La’s standards for cleanliness, presentation, guest comfort, and service. Requirements typically include several years of supervisory or management experience in an upscale or luxury hotel, strong knowledge of housekeeping procedures, budgeting, inventory control, health and safety, and staff scheduling. Experience with hotel systems and a recognised hospitality qualification is advantageous. The successful candidate is expected to be organised, hands-on, guest focused, commercially aware, and capable of motivating a diverse team. Excellent communication, problem-solving, leadership, and quality-control skills are essential, along with flexibility to work weekends, holidays, and changing operational hours.
