Job Description

The Security Officer helps protect guests, colleagues, hotel property and company assets at Shangri-La in Hong Kong. Typical requirements include relevant hotel, commercial security or disciplined-services experience, good physical fitness, observation skills and the ability to handle emergencies calmly. Candidates should communicate clearly in English and preferably Cantonese or Mandarin, work shifts including nights, weekends and public holidays, and understand access control, patrols, incident reporting, CCTV monitoring and emergency procedures. A valid Hong Kong security personnel permit may be required, depending on assigned duties. The successful candidate is expected to be professional, discreet, service-minded and respectful when assisting guests while consistently following hotel safety and security standards.
