Job Description

The Executive Housekeeper leads all housekeeping and laundry operations, ensuring guestrooms, public areas and back-of-house spaces meet Shangri-La’s luxury standards. Requirements generally include several years of hotel housekeeping experience, ideally in an international or five-star property, together with supervisory or departmental leadership experience. Strong knowledge of cleaning procedures, hygiene, budgeting, inventory control, scheduling and health and safety is expected. The successful candidate should be organised, guest-focused and comfortable managing multicultural teams. Good communication, coaching and problem-solving skills are essential, as well as the ability to work flexible hours, weekends and public holidays. Familiarity with hotel operating systems and quality-audit processes is advantageous.
