Hong Kong Shangri-La HKD 25,000–45,000 per month*
Job Description

This role leads brand and festive marketing initiatives for Shangri-La in Hong Kong. Requirements typically include a degree or equivalent experience in marketing, communications, hospitality, business, or a related field, along with several years of experience in brand management, campaign planning, content development, partnerships, or luxury hospitality marketing. Strong project management, copywriting, budgeting, digital marketing, and stakeholder coordination skills are expected. Experience working with agencies, media, social platforms, hotels, and premium consumer brands would be advantageous. Fluency in English and Cantonese, with Mandarin desirable, may be preferred.

Company Info

Shangri-La is a Hong Kong-founded luxury hospitality group operating hotels, resorts, and related properties across Asia, the Middle East, Europe, North America, and other international markets. The group is recognised for personalised service, elegant surroundings, strong Asian hospitality values, and the long-standing “Shangri-La” brand. Its portfolio includes Shangri-La Hotels and Resorts, Kerry Hotels, JEN by Shangri-La, and Traders Hotels. The company employs colleagues across accommodation, restaurants and bars, wellness, events, sales, marketing, and corporate functions. In Hong Kong, Shangri-La properties serve luxury leisure travellers, business guests, local residents, and major events. A brands role with a festive focus would likely support seasonal campaigns, guest experiences, promotional partnerships, content, and commercial activity designed to strengthen brand visibility and drive revenue during key celebrations.

Destination Guide

Hong Kong offers strong opportunities in hospitality, luxury retail, finance, technology, events, marketing, and international business. Its culture blends Cantonese traditions with global influences, with major festivals including Lunar New Year, Mid-Autumn Festival, and Christmas. Lifestyle is fast-paced and convenient, with excellent public transport, diverse restaurants, shopping, hiking trails, beaches, and vibrant nightlife. Hong Kong is a Special Administrative Region rather than a single island, although Hong Kong Island is one of its main areas. Most overseas professionals need an employment visa sponsored by a Hong Kong employer; applications generally require a confirmed role, relevant qualifications or experience, and proof that the position cannot easily be filled locally. Dependants may usually apply for associated visas. Housing can be expensive, so candidates should compare salaries with rent, healthcare, transport, taxes, and relocation costs before accepting an offer.
