Job Description

The Service Associate – Housekeeping is responsible for cleaning and maintaining guest rooms, bathrooms, corridors, and assigned public areas to Shangri-La’s required standards. Typical requirements include a friendly and service-focused attitude, attention to detail, physical stamina, personal grooming, and the ability to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays. Previous hotel or housekeeping experience is helpful but may not be essential. The successful candidate is expected to follow hygiene, safety, and departmental procedures, handle cleaning equipment and supplies carefully, respond politely to guest requests, report maintenance issues, and work cooperatively with colleagues. Good communication skills and a willingness to learn are important.
