Job Description

The Executive Housekeeper leads the hotel’s housekeeping and laundry operations, ensuring consistently high standards of cleanliness, presentation, hygiene and guest comfort. Candidates should have substantial experience in luxury hotels or resorts, ideally in a supervisory or departmental leadership role, with strong knowledge of housekeeping procedures, budgeting, inventory control and quality standards. The role requires confident leadership, staff training, scheduling ability and close cooperation with Front Office, Engineering and other departments. Shangri-La would expect a polished, guest-focused manager who can work under pressure, control costs, maintain safety standards and motivate a multicultural team. Good communication skills and flexibility for weekends, holidays and changing operational demands are essential.
