Strong communication, organisation and problem-solving skills are essential, together with a warm, energetic and responsible personality. The role may require flexible shifts, weekends and public holidays, as well as the ability to work with children and families from diverse cultural backgrounds. First-aid, childcare or activity-leadership training would be advantageous.
