Senior Security Officer

Job Description

The Senior Security Officer is responsible for protecting guests, colleagues, hotel assets and premises at Shangri-La in Hong Kong. Requirements typically include relevant hotel, hospitality or security experience, knowledge of emergency procedures, incident reporting and access control, and the ability to communicate professionally in English and Cantonese or Mandarin. A valid Hong Kong security personnel permit may be required. The successful candidate is expected to remain alert, handle incidents calmly, conduct patrols, monitor CCTV and coordinate with police, emergency services and hotel departments. Shift work, including nights, weekends and public holidays, is normally required. Strong interpersonal skills, physical fitness, integrity and a service-oriented attitude are essential.
