The General Technician supports the hotel’s Engineering and Maintenance team by inspecting, repairing and maintaining electrical, plumbing, air-conditioning, mechanical and general building systems. Candidates should have relevant technical training, trade qualifications or hands-on experience in hotel, commercial building or facilities maintenance. Basic knowledge of safety procedures, preventive maintenance and troubleshooting is expected. The role requires practical problem-solving skills, reliability, good teamwork and the ability to respond promptly to guest or operational requests. Flexibility is important because hotel technicians commonly work shifts, weekends and public holidays. A service-minded attitude, neat working practices and the ability to communicate in English or Chinese would be advantageous.
