Job Description

The Security Officer protects guests, colleagues, hotel property and company assets at Shangri-La in Hong Kong. Responsibilities typically include conducting patrols, monitoring CCTV and access points, responding to incidents, preparing reports, supporting emergency procedures and assisting guests professionally. Candidates should have relevant security or hospitality experience, good communication skills, sound judgment, physical fitness and the ability to remain calm under pressure. Familiarity with Hong Kong security procedures, first aid and fire-safety practices is advantageous. The role requires flexibility for rotating shifts, weekends and public holidays. A valid Hong Kong security personnel permit or eligibility to obtain one may be required, along with Cantonese, English and preferably Mandarin language skills.
