The Service Associate – Engineering (A/C Technician) is responsible for installing, inspecting, maintaining and repairing air-conditioning and refrigeration systems across the hotel. Candidates should have a technical qualification or vocational training in refrigeration and air-conditioning, practical experience with HVAC equipment, and knowledge of electrical and mechanical systems. The role requires safe working practices, troubleshooting ability, basic documentation skills and a customer-focused attitude. The successful candidate is expected to respond promptly to maintenance requests, complete preventive maintenance schedules, support hotel operations, maintain tools and equipment, and follow Shangri-La’s service, safety and environmental standards. Flexibility to work shifts, weekends and public holidays is normally required.
