The Commis Pastry – Jajanan Pasar supports the pastry kitchen in preparing traditional Indonesian snacks and desserts, including mise en place, mixing, baking, steaming, decorating, portioning, and presentation. Candidates should have basic pastry or culinary training, practical kitchen experience, good knowledge of food hygiene, and an interest in Indonesian cuisine. The role requires physical stamina, attention to detail, cleanliness, teamwork, and willingness to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays. The successful candidate is expected to follow recipes and instructions accurately, maintain consistent quality, control waste, keep equipment and work areas clean, and support senior pastry chefs during daily production and hotel events.
