Job Description

The Assurance Manager, Personal Channels role is responsible for assessing and strengthening risk management, controls and compliance across ANZ’s personal banking channels. Requirements typically include substantial experience in assurance, risk, audit, compliance or banking operations; strong knowledge of control frameworks and regulatory obligations; and the ability to interpret data, identify issues and develop practical recommendations. The successful candidate is expected to work independently, engage confidently with senior stakeholders, challenge processes constructively and deliver high-quality assurance reviews within agreed timelines. Experience in digital banking, customer channels, operational risk or financial services regulation would be valuable. As a 12-month fixed-term position, adaptability and the ability to contribute quickly are particularly important.
