Job Description

The Banking Consultant supports customers in an ANZ branch by understanding their needs and helping with everyday banking, accounts, lending enquiries, digital services and suitable financial products. The role generally requires customer service or banking experience, strong communication skills, confidence using technology, attention to detail and the ability to meet responsible sales and service standards. Candidates are expected to build trusted relationships, identify customer needs, provide accurate information, resolve issues, follow banking procedures and comply with regulatory and risk requirements. A positive, inclusive attitude and flexibility to work branch hours are important. Training is usually provided for product knowledge and systems.
