Job Description

This role involves keeping the store and surrounding areas clean, safe and presentable, collecting and returning shopping trolleys, managing waste and assisting with general store upkeep. Candidates should be physically capable of walking, standing, pushing trolleys and performing repetitive tasks, sometimes outdoors in changing weather. Reliability, punctuality, attention to detail and a practical attitude are important. The role also requires safe work practices, teamwork and courteous interactions with customers and colleagues. Previous cleaning, retail or customer service experience may be helpful but is generally not essential, as training is commonly provided. Applicants must be legally entitled to work in Australia and be available for the rostered shifts, including weekends or early mornings where required.
