Job Description

A Store Team Member helps customers, replenishes shelves, maintains product presentation, operates registers, checks stock, and keeps the store clean and safe. The role generally requires good communication, reliability, a customer-focused attitude, attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently in a busy environment. Candidates should be comfortable standing for extended periods, lifting and moving stock, following workplace and food-safety procedures, and working flexible shifts, including evenings, weekends, and public holidays. Previous retail experience is helpful but not always essential, as training is usually provided. Woolworths expects team members to work cooperatively, provide friendly service, follow company policies, and contribute to a positive shopping experience.
