Lifestyle options range from busy city living to coastal, rural, and remote communities, although housing and transport costs vary considerably. Visitors and workers must hold an appropriate visa; common options include Working Holiday, employer-sponsored, student, and skilled migration visas. Visa conditions can limit working hours or occupations, so applicants should check the Department of Home Affairs website.
