British workplace culture generally values professionalism, punctuality, clear communication, inclusion and respect for work-life balance. Lifestyle varies from busy urban living to quieter towns and countryside, with good public transport, cultural attractions and extensive public services. Overseas workers normally need the appropriate visa before starting employment; the Skilled Worker route may apply where an employer is an approved sponsor and the role meets salary and eligibility requirements.
