Job Description

The role leads Barclays’ coverage of insurance companies, captives, funds and asset managers within Trade and Working Capital. Responsibilities typically include developing senior client relationships, identifying financing and liquidity opportunities, shaping trade finance and working-capital solutions, managing revenue performance, and coordinating product, risk and credit teams. Candidates are expected to bring substantial corporate or investment banking experience, strong knowledge of financial-institution clients and trade finance, commercial judgment, and a proven record of winning and retaining complex relationships. Excellent communication, negotiation, stakeholder-management and leadership skills are essential, along with an understanding of regulatory, credit and conduct requirements.
