Kuala Lumpur is the main financial centre and is likely to provide the widest range of roles for professionals in derivatives delivery and banking transformation. Malaysia combines multicultural communities, English-friendly workplaces, affordable food and generally lower living costs than Singapore. Popular island destinations include Langkawi, Penang, Tioman and the Perhentian Islands, offering beaches, diving and a relaxed lifestyle. Kuala Lumpur provides urban amenities, while Penang is attractive for its heritage, food and technology sector.
