The Development Merchandiser will coordinate apparel product development from initial concept through approval and production handover. Requirements typically include a degree or diploma in fashion, textiles, apparel, merchandising, or a related field; experience in apparel development or merchandising; strong knowledge of garments, fabrics, trims, costing, sampling, and production processes; and good skills in English, communication, coordination, and Microsoft Office. The candidate is expected to work closely with designers, customers, suppliers, technical teams, and factories, manage development timelines, follow up on samples and approvals, identify risks, maintain accurate records, and support the delivery of commercially viable products that meet quality, cost, and sustainability standards.
