Company Info

Shangri-La Group is a Hong Kong-based luxury hospitality company operating hotels, resorts and related businesses across Asia, the Middle East, Europe, North America and other international markets. Its portfolio includes Shangri-La, Kerry Hotels, JEN by Shangri-La and Traders Hotels. The group is known for personalised Asian hospitality, high service standards, destination resorts, business hotels and distinctive dining and wellness experiences. Corporate and regional teams in Hong Kong support brand strategy, commercial planning, marketing, operations and growth across the wider network. Employees may work in a multicultural environment with opportunities to collaborate across countries and hotel properties. Benefits and career development vary by position, business unit and employment contract.

Destination Guide

Hong Kong offers strong opportunities in hospitality, luxury retail, finance, technology, marketing and international business. Its culture blends Cantonese traditions with global influences, reflected in food, festivals, family life and a fast-paced working environment. Lifestyle options range from dense urban neighbourhoods and excellent public transport to beaches, hiking trails and quieter outlying islands. Housing can be expensive, so newcomers commonly begin in serviced accommodation or shared flats near an MTR station. Most foreign professionals need an employment visa sponsored by the hiring company; applications generally require a confirmed offer, relevant qualifications and proof that the role cannot easily be filled locally. Dependants may apply for associated permission. Arrange health insurance, banking, tax registration and suitable accommodation before or soon after arrival. Cantonese is widely spoken, while English is common in business and professional workplaces.
