The Duty Manager (Front Office) is expected to oversee daily front-office operations, support reception and concierge teams, manage guest arrivals and departures, resolve service issues, and maintain Shangri-La’s service standards. Candidates typically need experience in hotel front-office operations, strong communication and problem-solving skills, sound knowledge of hotel systems, and the ability to lead a team during busy shifts. A diploma or degree in hospitality is advantageous. The role requires flexibility to work rotating shifts, weekends, and public holidays, together with a calm, professional approach and excellent attention to detail.
