Events Manager

Job Description

The Events Manager is responsible for planning, coordinating and delivering conferences, weddings, banquets and other events from initial enquiry through to completion. Requirements typically include relevant hospitality or event-management experience, strong organisational and budgeting skills, excellent communication, and confidence managing clients, suppliers and operational teams. Experience with event systems, sales targets and hotel banquet operations is advantageous. The successful candidate is expected to deliver high service standards, prepare proposals and contracts, coordinate event details, supervise event execution, resolve issues promptly and build strong client relationships. Flexibility to work evenings, weekends and public holidays, along with a professional presentation and commercial mindset, is essential.
