Job Description

The Waiter/Waitress at Red Sugar is responsible for welcoming guests, taking food and beverage orders, serving accurately and efficiently, processing payments, and maintaining a clean, well-presented dining area. Candidates should have a friendly personality, good communication skills, and a genuine interest in hospitality. Previous restaurant, bar, or hotel experience is preferred, although motivated candidates with less experience may be considered. The role requires good English; Cantonese and other languages are useful in Hong Kong’s international hotel environment. Flexibility to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays is expected. The successful candidate should remain attentive under pressure, work cooperatively with colleagues, follow hygiene and service standards, and create a polished guest experience consistent with Shangri-La’s reputation.
