Candidates should have professional experience in Indian cuisine, strong knowledge of spices, cooking techniques and food-safety standards, and the ability to work efficiently in a hotel or resort kitchen. Experience in an international luxury hotel is advantageous. The role requires teamwork, good communication, attention to detail, creativity, discipline and flexibility to work shifts, weekends and public holidays. The successful candidate should also help control food costs, reduce waste and maintain Shangri-La’s service and quality standards.
