Job Description

The Storekeeper manages the hotel’s receiving, storage and issuing of food, beverages, operating supplies and other inventory. Requirements typically include secondary education, previous experience in hotel stores, warehousing or inventory control, basic computer skills and familiarity with stock records and purchasing procedures. The candidate should be organised, physically fit, attentive to detail and comfortable handling deliveries and lifting supplies. Responsibilities include checking quantities and quality, maintaining proper storage and hygiene standards, conducting stock counts, monitoring expiry dates, preparing requisitions and coordinating with kitchen, purchasing and finance teams. Reliability, honesty, teamwork and willingness to work shifts, weekends and public holidays are expected.
