Job Description

The Demi Chef de Partie supports the Chef de Partie in preparing and cooking food to Shangri-La’s standards. Requirements typically include culinary training or relevant professional kitchen experience, good knowledge of food preparation, hygiene and HACCP practices, and the ability to work efficiently under pressure. The successful candidate is expected to maintain consistent quality, follow recipes and portion controls, keep the workstation clean, assist with stock management, and cooperate closely with colleagues across the kitchen. Flexibility to work shifts, weekends and public holidays is essential. A positive attitude, attention to detail, willingness to learn and commitment to guest satisfaction are important for success in this role.
