Company Info

Shangri-La is a leading luxury hospitality group founded in Hong Kong, with hotels, resorts, and residences across Asia, the Middle East, Europe, North America, and other international markets. The group is known for personalised service, Asian-inspired hospitality, and premium guest experiences. Its portfolio includes the Shangri-La, Kerry, JEN, and Traders brands, serving luxury leisure, business, meetings, and event customers. Shangri-La hotels typically offer extensive dining, wellness, conference, and guest-service facilities. The company employs a large international workforce and provides opportunities across hotel operations, corporate functions, sales, marketing, finance, technology, and leadership. Destination Guide

Hong Kong offers strong opportunities in hospitality, tourism, retail, finance, technology, marketing, and international business. The culture blends Cantonese traditions with global influences, and workplaces are generally fast-paced, professional, and multilingual. Life is convenient, with efficient public transport, excellent dining, vibrant entertainment, hiking trails, beaches, and dense urban neighbourhoods. Housing can be expensive, especially near Central, Kowloon business areas, or major transport hubs, so many residents choose districts farther from the centre. Overseas professionals normally need an employer-sponsored work visa, commonly under the General Employment Policy, with approval based on qualifications, experience, salary, and a confirmed job offer. Employers may assist with visa paperwork, but candidates should confirm relocation benefits, medical coverage, tax arrangements, and housing support. Hong Kong is not technically an island-only destination, but Hong Kong Island is its best-known urban area.
