Its hospitality sector is international and offers roles for candidates with customer-service experience, language skills, and recognised hotel qualifications. The culture is multicultural, efficient, and respectful, with English widely used alongside Mandarin, Malay, and Tamil. Lifestyle attractions include excellent public transport, diverse food, shopping, parks, beaches, and a safe urban environment, although housing and daily expenses can be high.
