Floor Supervisor

Job Description

The Floor Supervisor oversees daily housekeeping operations on assigned guest floors, ensuring bedrooms, corridors and public areas meet Shangri-La’s cleanliness and presentation standards. The role typically requires previous hotel housekeeping experience, supervisory ability, good knowledge of cleaning procedures and attention to detail. Candidates should be organised, physically fit, service-minded and capable of training and motivating colleagues. Responsibilities include allocating work, inspecting rooms, following up on guest requests, reporting maintenance issues, controlling supplies and coordinating with Front Office and Engineering. Good communication skills in English and, ideally, Cantonese or Mandarin, together with flexibility to work shifts, weekends and public holidays, are expected.
