Executive Housekeeper

Job Description

The Executive Housekeeper leads the hotel’s housekeeping and laundry operations, ensuring guest rooms, public areas and back-of-house facilities meet Shangri-La’s cleanliness and service standards. Requirements typically include a diploma or degree in hotel management, several years of supervisory or managerial experience in an upscale or luxury hotel, strong knowledge of housekeeping procedures, budgeting, health and safety, inventory control and quality assurance. The successful candidate should be organised, guest-focused, commercially aware and comfortable managing multicultural teams. Expectations include training and motivating staff, controlling costs, coordinating with Front Office and Engineering, handling guest concerns, maintaining compliance and supporting the hotel’s overall service culture.
