The Lifeguard is responsible for supervising swimming pools, beaches, and other aquatic areas to protect guests and prevent accidents. Requirements typically include a valid lifeguard qualification, current first-aid and CPR certification, strong swimming ability, good physical fitness, and the ability to remain alert for extended periods. Previous experience in a hotel, resort, pool, or beach environment is advantageous. The successful candidate is expected to enforce safety rules tactfully, respond quickly and confidently to emergencies, perform water rescues, inspect equipment, maintain accurate incident records, and provide courteous guest service. Flexibility to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays is essential.
