Job Description

The Floor Supervisor is responsible for overseeing daily housekeeping operations on assigned guest floors, ensuring bedrooms, corridors and service areas meet Shangri-La’s cleanliness and presentation standards. Duties typically include allocating work, inspecting rooms, following up on guest requests, monitoring supplies, reporting maintenance issues and coaching room attendants. Candidates should have relevant hotel housekeeping experience, good knowledge of cleaning procedures and strong attention to detail. Supervisory experience in a luxury hotel is preferred. The role requires professional communication, teamwork, physical stamina, reliability and the ability to work shifts, weekends and public holidays. A guest-focused attitude, basic computer skills and a commitment to hygiene, safety and confidentiality are expected.
