Manager Operational Design & Readiness

Job Description

The Manager Operational Design & Readiness leads the development, testing and implementation of operational models, processes and readiness plans for Qantas initiatives. Requirements typically include experience in airline, aviation or large-scale operational environments; strong project and process-design skills; the ability to interpret operational data; and excellent stakeholder-management, communication and problem-solving abilities. The successful candidate is expected to coordinate cross-functional teams, identify operational risks, develop implementation plans, support trials and simulations, and ensure new or changed services are safe, compliant and ready for launch. Experience with change management, business improvement, regulatory requirements and complex program delivery is highly desirable.
