Destination Guide

Australia offers job opportunities in aviation, tourism, logistics, healthcare, construction, technology, education and hospitality. Major employment hubs include Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, Perth, Adelaide and regional airport communities. Australian workplace culture is generally informal, direct and inclusive, with strong expectations around punctuality, safety and respectful communication. Lifestyle varies from busy city living to relaxed coastal or regional communities, with beaches, outdoor activities and a relatively high cost of living, especially for housing. Visitors and workers usually need an appropriate visa, such as a Working Holiday visa, employer-sponsored visa or skilled visa; eligibility depends on nationality, occupation, age and qualifications. Relocating requires budgeting for rent, transport, health insurance and initial living costs. Airport roles may also require security screening and unrestricted work rights.
